Her Penumbra explores the atmosphere surrounding a location using photography as an investigative tool, one which can create tangible representation to evoke a sense of presence. Daytime is at play as shadows cast by the sun appear to be affecting the space with a palpable weightiness. Her Penumbra plays with ideas of embodied space and thresholds between internal and external space.
