Denim is a triptych made from hundreds of photographs layered in a timeline to evoke a sense of intimate space and time spent. If a photograph is a trace, then each moment is echoed as the transitions between frames are made visible. Mechanics of photography such as blur, depth of field and exposure levels are used to represent tactile visual recollection in memory. Shown as a multi-channel installation, dimensions variable.
